Switch And Arrange

Okay, Journalism 1 midterms tomorrow. I've looked over and revised the concepts, but I still have no bleeding idea how the test's gonna look like, except for the sample Adam gave me..Thanks Adam!

Weird feeling, obsessing over a test. I must've drunk or eaten something off. Oh wait..... it's just me studying for a change. Hmm, I need a break. And a stiff drink, or a speed drink.

Sentosa Saturday coming up. I wonder who planned it. Anyway, it's a good way to go relax. And I can legally buy booze. Heh heh.

I want a sleepover! Or two....or parties! Yes, lots of parties!

I need to drink less glucose.

Sod It All

Holidays. Bloody hell. More like boredom, if you ask me. Me dad is still stalling over the job, I have no idea how my exams went (though I hope I failed everything), I don't have much to look forward to, all my games have gone stale, and I've finished watching all the stuff my dad and i bought on our $500 spending spree. Oh yeah, and some updates on that list of mine.

  1. Get The Girl. - Big mistake. She seems to be too busy/uninterested in guys at the moment.
  2. Get my JJ-ness back. - Well, this one's a little better. Despite being utterly bored, I've at least started reading books again, and I'm trying to understand how my thought processes, beliefs, ideas, philosophies and experiences were formed. In short, I'm beginning to understand me again.
  3. Get a job. - Like I said, my dad's stalling. Maybe Gold 90FM has a student DJ position.
  4. Get money. - Besides my weekly pittance, not much unless I get a job....
  5. Get lots of fun. - Everyone seems to be busy or camping, so no fun as of yet.
  6. Get fit. - Faring the best. Knocked off about two kilos so far, should be down to 91 by the end of the hols.
  7. Get ready to rock 'n roll. - This one's half and half. I found a nice Epiphone guitar pack (Les Paul Special II no less) for about $600. Problem? I need $600.

Bloody effin' hell, what a lousy rotten holiday this is. And it's now 3am on a Monday morning, with results out tomorrow and a day of badminton to look forward to. A favourite line of mine, hopefully prophetic at this time...Business is about to pick up.

Fluctuations And Other Obscenities

A Chinaman walks into a restaurant and orders some food. After the meal, he looks at the bill and asks why it is so expensive this week when last week he paid 20% less for the same dishes. The waiter replies:" Fluctuations", to which the Chinaman replies, "Fluck you too."

A Jew says to a Chinaman:" Hey you chink, stop squinting!" The Chinaman replies," Hey, it's your fault, Jew, you sold me these cheap glasses!"

This ends my little presentation. Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.

Prices are going down, and portions are going up. Oh, wait, that's the other way around. Ah well. Guess it will do me good to eat less than eight meals a day. Yeah, I used to eat breakfast, a mid-morning snack, brunch, lunch, an afternoon nibble, tea, dinner, coffee and finally, supper. Oh, and add in various miscellaneous bites of this and that when I'm feeling peckish. So yeah, I'm just your average ordinary everyday polar bear...err, I meant teenager.

Exams have ended. I might do well. Pigs might fly. Whales might walk. Aliens might exist. I might stop cracking racist and dirty jokes. Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen.

My holidays are until the 12th of October. Yep, read it and weep, buddies. 12th October. Bloody hell, that's a lot of time on my hands. Time to start getting of my arse and getting a good job. As a chef. Yeah, that's an idea. Poison people with too much sugar, milk, cream, salt, eggs, pepper and other ingredients and condiments. Oh, and salad. Wait, what? AAAAAH! Think junk food! JUNK FOOD! CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM WITH VANILLA CREAM CHOC CHIPS COOKIES CHOC SAUCE PEANUT BUTTER STRAWBERRY CREAM ICING APPLE CRUMBLE CHEESECAKE AND A BIG FROTHY MUG OF COFFEE WITH FULL FAT MILK SUGAR SOLUTION CHOC SAUCE TOPPED WITH WHIPPED CREAM SUGAR GLAZING AND A CHERRY ON TOP! Yes, much better now.

Y'know, most if not all the nice girls I know have gone to or are in other countries, are attached, or very uptight about getting attached. Was there never a tale of more woe, than Juliet, and searching desperately for her, Romeo?

But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun! Arise, fair sun, and slay the envious moon. It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. - From "Romeo and Juliet, Act 2 Scene 2"

Yeah, and I wrote all that without referring to my copy of R&J. Jolly well done, old boy! Good form and all that. My literature skills might be dormant, but they sure as heck still exist. That's comforting.

Moving on, my plans for the holidays, in no particular order.
  1. Get The Girl.
  2. Get my JJ-ness back.
  3. Get a job.
  4. Get money.
  5. Get lots of fun.
  6. Get fit.
  7. Get ready to rock 'n roll.

The Waiting Game

If all my friends are to be believed, this will be the last two weeks of freedom I have left. Rumors abound about when our results will be released,, but I've given up on worrying. Worrying distracts me. I'm gonna have my fun, that is a fact. Still a few movies left to download or watch, still some things to do. My iPod's working just fine, and currently holds 1400+songs and 3 movies. Nice, eh? I will import more over the coming days. Here's to a new beginning!

Man In The Middle

To quote The Bee Gees, I'm just the man in the middle. Of what? Everything, of course. It's nice being the eye of the hurricane. Everything else is blowing around you, you are safe and calm. Party's in three days! But up to today, interesting events have been unfolding all over the place.

  • Rahman has his dad back again! Hooray for moderates! I hope the two can continue to co-exist peacefully.
  • Bryan's back, and is willing to help with the drinks.
  • Gawain's finally contactable, and is willing to source drinks, at a price.
  • Christmas was a blast, and I really had a lot of fun. The cash and presents weren't too bad either.
  • I am a full Corporal in BF2, with an eye on being a Sergeant. Yay unlocks! I unlocked the PKM Light Machine Gun, and the M95 Barret Sniper Rifle! Viva Las Headshots! Can't stop rockin'! Woohoo!
  • I got a handphone! Yes, I am finally contactable. But be warned, I will still use my home phone if I'm at home.
  • Party menu is decided, and so are the drinks!
Indeed, I have much to be grateful for. I thank all my friends and family, for helping me make it so far this year. Now, Ladies And Gentleman, For The Thousands In Attendance, And The Millions Watching At Home, LLLLEEEET"S GET READY TO RRRUUUUUUUUUUMMBLE!

Postcards For A Party

Party's been confirmed for the 29th. I am truly sorry to all those who have to rearrange their schedules, but it can't be helped. Since I still can't confirm everyone, I will be sending out cards to invite everyone. Job search is stagnating, as my relatives still haven't got back to me. Also, I now have A Guitar! Yamato G44, made in Japan. Paid $99 for it. I'm very happy with the whole package, even if I can only play three chords as of now. Let my odyssey towards becoming a guitar hero begin! Rock On!

Alright, enough of that. I shall be visiting the SuperTeens camp next week, and saying hello to some of the guys. Also, I will be practising on my guitar, for about 30 mins each day, till I can play my beloved country and gospel songs. Once again, my thanks to Rahman and Jeremy Ho for accompanying me to get my guitar. Pics will be on my Friendster site, so go there and take a looksie. Goodnight!

Updates Updates

The river of time rolls ever onward, and I sit by its banks waiting. What for, I don't know...that special something, somewhere, or Someone. I really don't know. But I still wait patiently. Who knows, lightning may strike.

Now then, on to my updates for the BBQ. News is both bad and good. Bad news: Quite a few girls and guys are all UTA(unable to attend). Reasons range from holidays to family get-togethers and so on. But never mind. Good news: The party is confirmed for the 15th. I will personally call, mail or visit everyone and give them directions, so nobody will get lost. Menu will be confirmed soon. Yes, it will be Teens Only. It may have a costume theme. Then again, maybe not. Who knows what the future may hold.

Literally Love

Literature exams have ended. Four years of blood, toil, sweat and tears have led me to this final moment. Okay, maybe blood is a bit excessive. But still, this was my first real magnum opus. Today has been the crowning glory in all my years in SA.

To Bryan, Gawain, Eric, Jovi, Rahman, Wei Jie, and all my Lit teachers, I salute you, for whatever you've done for me and given to me. We do have 2 months more together as SAS boys, so let's make them count. Barbecue's at Rahman's on 17th November, so I will be seeing you guys there. To all my friends in church who have kept me in prayer, I thank you. May God Bless You! To all my classmates and teachers, it's been real fun, these four years. See ya Monday!

To The Girl, I Love You. And That's Love, Actually. Here's a song for you.

My Wish

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,

And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,

I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but you never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, that you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, more than anything,
My wish for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah this, is my wish.

This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

Practicality?

I Hate My School. I loathe it, detest it, and I wish I could set fire to it and watch it burn to the ground. Why? Because my bloody crap teachers refuse to do SPA. Reason? They're too damn busy and have no bloody time to do a few practicals extra per month, so they screw up our O level practical instead. Well, damn them all. They can go screw themselves. Wait a minute... Farewell Assembly tomorrow! Well then, Goodbye, Good Riddance and above all, GO TO F*CKING BLAZES!

Ahh, glad that's over. Now then, here's a guest list I have compiled so far for the party. All the usual suspects, and many more to come!

New Beginnings, New Stories and A New Attitude

Hello Universe! It is a dreary Saturday evening as I write this, but my mood could be no less different. I am about to embark on an evening of Rugby, Football and Food. But first, an update on my plans for the holidays. Rahman is also having a BBQ, so we have to plan both parties not to coincide. Also, both parties will be a strictly teenage affair, so no adults around to make us do this that or the other. Also, I am planning to ask a girl out for dinner and a movie after exams, but I can't decide who.

Right, on to the news. Rahman and Mark (with a K) both have new blogs, so I have updated their links. Rahman, Jeremy Ho, Wei Jie and myself have invented Yagouwise, a new language, culture and tradition transcending even the great divides between SA, SE and S1. I have gotten several new movies, and will continue to get more of them. Walk The Line Rules! Oh, and I am actually doing something interesting...*drum-roll*... I am STUDYING!!!!!... *gasps of horror and shock*. Yes, my friends, I actually do care about my future, and I will achieve what I want. Nothing will stop me, Nothing will stand in my way. I am empowered, enlightened and ready to take on the world! I will... wait, did I hear the ice-cream man?...YEY ICECREAMZ!!!!!
*runs off after Ice-Cream Van*...
